I have to let the local (and the visiting) riders in the Gulf Coast know where to find the fun places to hang out on when 2 wheels. I have been riding since I was 15 years old, but back then I was a trick rider (not competitive , just for fun) and a quarter mile oval dirt track racer. Now I am a just a cruiser trying to relieve the stress of modern life, you know, the "RIDE TO LIVE, LIVE TO RIDE" concept.A good motorcycle "ride" takes you somewhere. When we ride out, where do we go? When we ride home, do we have a story to tell or was it just a ride around the block? The point of this section is to suggest cool places to go when we ride out. The ride is always more fun if there is a cool destination with interesting biker related things to do at the midpoint. Therefore, we will call this segment "MIDPOINTS."Most MIDPOINTS reviewed here will be within 100 miles of downtown Mobile. Two hours ride at 50mph with a couple hours at the MIDPOINT, then a couple of hours ride back. Some of the MIDPOINTS are just fun places to ride to and hang out IN Mobile.
