I am a local artist/craftsman. All custom items are made by hand in Saraland, Alabama and can be picked up here to not incur shipping charges. Large items are best picked up in person, but I am happy to crate them up and ship them via UPS or freight carrier for furniture and really large items. Shipping costs on large items depend on two things: 1 - their finished and packaged weight and size, 2 - the cost of the plywood, etc., needed to protect the item.
